Medicare Plans

Enhanced Primary Care Plan (also known as Chronic Disease Management Plan or TCA plan

Medicare Code 10960

Your GP can assess to see if you are eligible.

If you are, Medicare will pay $58 towards each physio session, (you can get up to 5 sessions). That means for initial $130, Medicare pays $58 and you just have a gap of $72. For ongoing appointments of $130, Medicare pays $58 and you have a gap of $72.

If you have spent a lot on health, medicare may pay more. It is up to you to find this info out.

(If you claim on the hicaps machine, you pay the full amount by card, then we process the EPC claim via your Medicare card and put the $58 back onto your debit card).

Your GP will determine how many sessions you need, but as my website describes, I need a minimum of 4 sessions. You must email or bring in your EPC referral to your physio session, otherwise you cannot use the scheme.

You must pay the full amount per physio session at the clinic. Then you can go into Medicare and get your money, or make a claim via your myGov portal (computer or phone app), or we can process in the clinic with the hicaps machine.

To claim online via myGov, all you need is a picture of the first page of the receipt you receive at the end of your physio session:

You cannot use private health and this Medicare scheme - only one or the other.
